Hunt for suspects behind Tongaat double murder

Police have launched a manhunt for suspects involved in the murder of two men in the north of Durban.

Their bodies were found dumped on the side of Walter Reid Road in Tongaat on Tuesday.
Officers say they had both been shot.
Two cases of murder have been opened for investigation and no arrests have been made.

Tongaat Community Policing Forum chairperson Nazir Sadack says they're concerned about the threat the incident poses to the community.
"It does affect the safety in the area because now we have individuals that are armed and that are running around and commit murder.
"We are not too sure the nature of the murder, whether is was drug-related, gang-related or whether it was a robbery that these individuals were shot, but the concern is there that we got individuals out there that are armed and that commit a crime as such."
