Human Rights Day: 'New SA should be characterised by non-racialism'
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
South coast realtor, Penny Sparrow’s racial slurs on social media caused unnecessary racial tension in the country.

That’s according to KZN Premier Senzo Mchunu who spoke at the Human Rights Day celebrations at Moses Mabhida Stadium yesterday.
"These were the remarks and utterances that showed that there are those amongst us who still have the ideals of the old South Africa.
"Indeed, we are saying to those who still have these ideals in our country - the colour of today's South Africa is one that's non-racialism," he said.
Mchunu says people stuck in their racist ways will eventually be pulled into the new South Africa.
He says if they continue to resist they will be pushed by the masses into the new South Africa.
