Howick residents to prepare for one-day water shutdown
Updated | By Puseletso Petersen
The uMgungundlovu Municipality says residents of Howick will have no water tomorrow.
The municipality says the shutdown, from 6am to 7pm, will be conducted for construction purposes at the Howick North Reservoir.
Technical Officer for the uMgugundlovu District, Pariska Maharaj has urged residents to prepare for the shutdown.
"The water shutdown will affect the whole of Howick between 6am and 7pm, on July 4. Residents will not have water during the shutdown as reservoirs will be empty. So, all residents are required to use water sparingly and to have an adequate supply stored for the shutdown," he said.
