Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park manager discharged from hospital after being hurt while arresting a poacher

It's been confirmed that a manager of the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park who was injured during a rhino poaching attempt has been released from hospital.
Amos Tembe was hurt while in the process of arresting a suspect caught sawing off a rhino horn at the northern KZN reserve on Saturday.
It's understood that the animal was killed.

KZN Tourism MEC, Siboniso Duma has thanked the game rangers who assisted in locating and arresting the poacher.
Spokesperson, Ndabezinhle Sibiya
"He has saluted game rangers for their dedication in the fight against wildlife crime."
"The cutting-edge technology and their alertness is the reason why they stopped poachers from removing a horn of a rhino, despite being under threat due to poaching.
"These protected species continue to contribute towards the growth of eco-tourism not only in KwaZulu Natal but in South Africa and the whole continent."
