Kidnapped Durban man released, confirms dad

Durban man who was abducted during a hijacking in Windermere has been found
unharmed.
Chad Dorkin was in his car with three friends on Woodford Grove on Sunday night when they were approached by three armed suspects.
Police say the other occupants managed to escape after they were robbed of their belongings.
The hijackers fled in Dorkin's vehicle with him inside.

A search for the 24-year-old began the same night.
His father, Elton Dorkin, says he was dropped off on Queen Nandi Drive last night and managed to make his way home.
Dorkin says Chad was unharmed. "Following the involvement with police and private security, around 9 pm last night, Chad was released."
The father confirms that there was a ransom demand for his son's release, "However, due to ongoing police investigations, we are not able to disclose any further details.
"The abductors did not provide any motive for the kidnapping. Right now Chad is resting and recovering from the trauma. he is incredibly grateful for the prayers and support.
"We all appreciative for the Durban community which came together to support us through this painful experience.
