Higher Education Dept. to shut down two bogus Durban colleges
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Its campaign targeting unregistered institutions wraps up today.
The Private Higher Education Institution's Shaheeda Esack says the department is in the process of closing down two Durban facilities while a third also in Durban, closed its doors before they could get there.
"We will visit and gather all the facts and evidence and then decide on how we will deal with it legally. One of the challenges we faced is that accredited and registered colleges offer programmes that they are not accredited to offer," she said.
