High traffic volumes during long weekend in KZN
There has been a huge influx of vehicles coming into KZN since the start of the long weekend.
On Saturday alone, over 2 000 cars an hour went through towards Mooi Plaza.
The N3 Toll Concessions Con Roux says this came as to shock to road officials as this is not the norm.
"What has happened is a lot of people decided to head down to KZN for the full ten-day holiday. We know this because Monday has had around 1100 vehicles," he said.
He adds surprisingly, as the 1 100 vehicles were leaving KZN, there was an equal number of vehicles coming into KZN.
