High court orders halt to loadshedding at schools, police stations, hospitals

The presidency says it's studying a high court judgment that ruled load shedding unconstitutional.

The Pretoria High Court handed down judgment on the rolling blackouts yesterday.
It's ordered Electricity Minister, Kgosientsho Ramokgopa to halt loadshedding at public schools, public health facilities and the Police service.

He has until the end of January next year to implement this.
The matter was brought to court by the United Democratic Movement, Build One South Africa and others.
