The South African Weather Service says brighter weather is expected this weekend.

It comes on the back of extreme weather warnings for disruptive rains this week.
A level 4 weather warning for disruptive rainfall, which may lead to flooding, is expected across KwaZulu-Natal on Friday.

"Tomorrow [Saturday], the rainfall is expected to be only 30%, so we are not expecting must. There are no warnings for tomorrow, so throughout the week, there is so far only a 30% chance of rainfall," says forecaster Wisani Dlamini.
The N3 Toll Concession says they expect a busy traffic weekend as holidaymakers head home.
"Road users are advised to plan ahead and be prepared for the forecast of between 1 500 and 2 000 vehicles per hour travelling in a northbound direction towards Gauteng. Rain and misty conditions have been reported along large sections of the route," says the concession's Thania Dhoogra.
