Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
A pilot has been killed in a helicopter crash in Eshowe, in northern KwaZulu-Natal.
It's understood the man had been spraying crops when he encountered problems.
The aircraft came down and caught alight.
IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson, Paul Herbst says paramedics found that community members had already moved the man out of the chopper.
"Unfortunately, the pilot of the light aircraft sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on arrival by the IPSS paramedics," he said.
