Heavy police presence at UKZN's Durban campuses
Updated | By Khatija Nxedlana

Students are milling about the lawns with at least 10 police vehicles parked outside the recently burnt UKZN Law Library, and around 40 police members stationed on the university premises.
A voice note recorded on whatsapp has been doing the rounds calling for a shutdown and warning of total destruction at the institution.
The recording also cautioned students not to attend classes if they are not participating in the strike.
Meanwhile, it's quiet on the UKZN Westville campus where security is also tight. All vehicles driving through the campus boom gates are being stopped and checked with motorists being asked to sign in.
Police vehicles and a SAPS Nyala have been stationed there.
The SRC president has told Newswatch that while they are unhappy with Minister Nzimande's announcement - they are leaving it up to individual campus SRCs on whether to protest or not.
