Health Dept: No cases of cholera in NW
Updated | By Newswatch
The National Health Department says there are no reported cases of cholera in the North West province.

The correction came after the provincial health department said two men aged 38 and 68 had become infected.
It said the cases were recorded in the local municipalities of Madibeng and Moretele, which are near the northern Pretoria town of Hammanskraal, the epicentre of the current outbreak.

Both departments have apologised, saying it was a communication error.
The latest cholera outbreak has claimed the lives of 24 people, 23 of them in Tshwane and one in Parys in the Free State.
