Health dept, iLembe officials lead march against illegal abortions

Senior officials from the Ilembe District Municipality and KZN Health Department are leading a march against illegal abortions on the north coast.
The march got underway at the Stanger Hospital this morning with officials seen destroying illegal abortion signs.
About 200 people are marching through the KwaDukuza CBD handing out flyers on the risks of illegal abortions.
These people have told Newswatch why they needed to take a stand.
UPDATE: The HOD of the KZN Department of Health has handed over a memorandum to the South African Police Service.
