Hawks probe series of PPE police contracts
The Hawks have confirmed they're investigating alleged corruption in the SAPS in the procurement of PPE.
The directorate is probing money spent between April and July last year.
Hawks spokesperson Nomthandazo Mbambo says a number of items have already been seized.
"Evidence has been collected against a number companies", she said.
"Search and seizure operations were also conducted and the items seized are currently being analysed.
