Hawks to investigate KZN municipalities accused of corruption, maladminstration
The Hawks have put together task teams to investigate corruption and maladminstration in municipalities including KwaZulu-Natal.
Spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi says the probes started in August last year led to some arrests, including that of former eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede.
Mulaudzi says they have identified municipalities in KZN whose affairs they'll be looking into.
