'Gun-wielding bodyguards weren't selected by the ANC'
The ANC's eThekwini regional secretary, Bheki Ntuli says his former bodyguards who are shown in a video handling firearms and threatening violence were not handpicked by the party.
In the video, the men are seen cocking guns and pointing what appears to be an AK47.
Ntuli says the guards claim to have been having harmless fun. He says the video seems to have been taken earlier this year.

The men have been removed from Ntuli's security detail.
Ntuli says the private security company the men are employed with has also been tasked with investigating the incident.
"This is the first incident that we's had - we do not just get bodyguards from just anybody. We do a thorough investigation before we get bodyguards from each and every company. For us, it has to be a credible company that we work with. Regardless of what happened, whether they were just having fun or whatever, we are not taking this matter lightly," he says.
The ANC in KZN says the incident was an irresponsible display of weapons.
