Gumede yet to be handed formal charge sheet from HAWKS
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
Former eThekwini mayor, Zandile Gumede's supporters say they are still waiting for her to be given a formal charge sheet by the Hawks.

Gumede is facing charges of fraud and racketeering relating to a multi-million-rand eThekwini tender.
She's appearing before the ANC's KZN integrity commission today.
Spokesperson for her supporters - Mzomuhle Dube - says the party held the commission too soon.
"She will be unable to present the content and the context up on which she is subjected to court matters. Had the matter waited it would have given the process credible outcome.
"We don't
anticipate any recommendations per say because at the moment, there is no case,”
Dube said.
Polical analyst Xolani Dube, says only the courts can present tangible evidence for the ANC to make a decision on her fate.
“We do not know what is happening with her standing in government and in the party,” Xolani Dube said.
“So I guess the Integrity Committee will deal with the hearsay, how are they going to reach conclusion without concrete evidence,” he question.
