Cabinet says it's extremely worried about the upsurge in racist comments on social media.
Briefing the media in Pretoria Acting Minister in the Presidency Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula condemned the statements by High Court Judge Mabel Jansen that have recently surfaced.
Jansen's been placed on special leave following the comments she made during a debate last year on Facebook about rape being part of black culture.

Mapisa-Nqakula says this is disappointing.
"The pronouncement and the statements made by an esteemed member of the judicial were unfortunate and they are not in keeping with what our society expects from the members of the judiciary that of course the judiciary should always act impartially and in a manner that is beyond reproach,'' she said.
