Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
Cabinet says a water task team has been set up to tackle supply challenges in the country.

Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni says it will be chaired by Deputy President Paul Mashatile.
She says factors including aging municipal infrastructure are hindering efficient supply of the precious resource to communities.
"Cabinet was updated about the progress with the Lesotho Highlands Phase 2 and Umkhomazi Water projects to build water supply resilience, whilst the Department of Water and Sanitation is working with affected cities on the improvement and renewal of the aged water infrastructure to minimise water loss.
"This task team will be constituted by the Department of Water and Sanitation, Cogta, Human Settlements, Public Works and Infrastructure, Agriculture and Land Reform and Rural Development and the SAPS."
Ntshavheni says Cabinet has also been briefed on the main contributors of the constant supply issues in eThekwini and other areas of KwaZulu-Natal that have also been struggling to get water.
