Govt lambasted for latest fuel price hike
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
An advocacy group's lashed out at the government as motorists prepare to dig deeper into their pockets to pay for fuel.

The People Against Petroleum Price Increases says it's ordinary South Africans who remain financially vulnerable and continue to suffer.
From midnight we'll pay 37 cents more for a litre of petrol.
Diesel's going up by 71 and 72 cents per litre.
The group's Visvin Reddy says the price hikes will increase living costs.
"Other governments across the world have put in place measures to mitigate factors that would lead to high fuel costs. Mismanagement of fuel prices will mean that they can and will be removed by the government, as has happened in some countries.
"But in South Africa, this government seem unashamedly careless in implementing fuel price increases without understanding the consequences."
