Govt to fund Industrial Development Zones
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa says government plans to pour millions more into Industrial Development Zones.

He had been answering questions in Parliament yesterday on the slow growth of some developments.
The zones are purpose built industrial estates in South Africa geared towards producing export goods.
Ramaphosa said the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone is a good example of what can be achieved in terms of attracting investment.
"We've realised that they have great potential because they can act as an investment magnet which can attract people or investors to come and invest and pour their money either in infrastructure or building up capacity be it logistic and what have you," he said.
