Girl (15) hit by taxi in Greenwood Park

A 15-year-old schoolgirl is fighting for her life in hospital after being hit by a minibus taxi in Durban on Thursday morning.
She was struck on the corner of Park Station and North Coast Road in Greenwood Park.
It's understood the taxi was speeding.
"The patient was assessed on scene and found to have sustained serious traumatic injuries," says Netcare 911's Shawn Herbst.
"The patient was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 emergency care practitioner and once stabilised was flown by Netcare 911 helicopter to a specialist facility for the urgent care she required.
"SAPS was on scene and will be investigating."
