Gang of 10 robbers hit Pavilion jewellery store

A manhunt has been launched for ten robbers who targetted a jewellery store at Durban's Pavilion Shopping Centre.

The KZN police's Robert Netshiunda says the gang stormed the shop on Sunday night and ordered staff into the kitchen.
"The suspects allegedly smashed the glass counter and shelf to gain access to the jewellery. Investigations are underway."

The thieves made off with an undisclosed amount of jewellery.
The Pavilion's management says the centre’s security responded immediately and alerted the police.
They say no staff was physically hurt. Westville police are investigating a business robbery case.
