Gale force winds batter KZN's coastal areas

Gale force winds that are blowing along KZN's coastal areas - are expected to last throughout the day.
In Durban this morning, wind speeds reached 52 kilometres per hour with gusts of up to 66 kays per hour.
The SA Weather Service says there're are rough conditions at sea as well.

Forecaster Ayanda Ntsele said: "About 40 to 60 km per hour coming from the south-westerly direction due to the surface region high that is dominating today's weather and due to that today's temperatures are quite cooler.
"We also have a warning our for very rough season between Port Edward and up to about Kosi Bay. They are expected to be 4.5 to 5 metres. The conditions are expect to subside from the evening today."
