Functioning of state-owned entities is improving: Ramaphosa
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Cyril Ramaphosa says government is sorting out operational issues at State Owned Enterprises which have been under scrutiny.
During a panel discussion at the World Economic Forum on Africa in Kigali in Rwanda the deputy president was asked about questionable contracts signed by some SOEs.
"Those are matters that are being handled as we go forward, blips like those will be something of the past as we streamline the way our state-owned enterprises function and the way they are also governed," he said.
In December 2014, Ramaphosa was tasked with overseeing the turnaround strategies at the three troubled parastatals, South African Airways, the South African Post Office and Eskom.
