Full reopening of N3 confirmed
The N3 Toll Concession says you can use the N3 freeway again, which had been closed to traffic between Cedara in KwaZulu-Natal and Heidelberg in Gauteng.
Traffic was halted over safety fears, after arsonists torched over two dozen trucks last weekend.
The Concession anticipates high traffic volumes, congestion and possible delays, and has urged motorists to be extremely cautious.

"N3 Toll Concession can confirm that law enforcement authorities have just announced the full reopening of the N3 Toll Route between Cedara in KwaZulu-Natal and Heidelberg in Gauteng, " the concession’s operations manager Thania Dhoogra said.
"Road users are warned to expect high traffic volumes, congestion and possible delays."
"It is vitally important to proceed with extreme caution and to stay alert at all times.”
