Fugitive rabbi's bail bid continues
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The bail application for fugitive rabbi Eliezer Berland continues today in the Randburg Magistrate's court.

Yesterday the application was postponed due to bail arguments not being completed.
The State has submitted documents form Interpol to substantiate their position against bail because he is a flight risk.
The affidavit states Berland is wanted in Israel for sexual crimes, listing incidents of Berland touching a number of women indecently.
He allegedly also assaulted the husband of one of the women. The affidavit also states that Berland had fled from the law before.
The defence denied that Berland was a fugitive of justice. They said he was in the country to expand his Jewish teachings amongst black people.
