Fuel shortages disrupt eThekwini bus operations
Updated | By Benedict Ngwenya
EThekwini Municipality is advising commuters to make alternative travel arrangements this afternoon.
Tansnat's John Wilkonson says the Rossburgh fuel depot ran out of fuel, leaving commuters in the Bluff, Montclair , Yellowwood Park and Chesterville stranded this morning.
Wilkonson says those area remain affected.
"In terms of Umlazi, there is an expected delivery and there'll be confirmation of that order hopefully early this afternoon. So, things are coming right but I just want to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience.
"The problem is not with the supplier but but rather internal processes within the company," he said.
