Fuel prices could remain unchanged in August: AA

The Automobile Association says the Rand’s performance and retreats in the international oil prices could mean virtually unchanged fuel prices for August.

The AA has been commenting on unaudited month-end fuel price data.

The association says the petrol price is expected to increase by around 2 cents a litre.
Diesel could come down by 4 cents.

Consumers have already been hit with four consecutive fuel price hikes this year.

Some economists had predicted earlier in the month that another significant hike could be on the cards come August.
