Updated | By Portia Cele
Umlazi residents are growing frustrated as another protest broke out in the south of Durban area - today.
Police say a group of 60 people blocked Mangosuthu Highway with stones and burning tyres - in the early hours of the morning.
While yesterday, demonstrators littered a main road, Sibusiso Mdakane Drive in V-Section.
The eThekwini Municipality said disgruntled contract workers were in a dispute with their employers.
The municipality had to deploy at least 21 trucks to collect refuse across sections in Umlazi.

Noluthando Makhanya who lives in the township's H-section has told Newswatch - they've had to walk longer distances to use public transport.
"There are glass bottles, trees, dirt - everything you can think of. [This is] from the main road, to smaller roads inside each section. I usually take the Mangosuthu Highway but today - we've had to scatter around."
Police say their public order police unit will continue monitoring the affected areas.
