Free education is not sustainable for SA: Nzimande
Updated | By Faith Daniels
Higher Education Minister, Blade Nzimande has made it clear to students and university representatives that the across the board free education model is not a sustainable one for South Africa.

Nzimande met with various representatives again yesterday.
Students expressed concern over continued violence and destruction of property on some campuses.
Separate meetings were held with Vice Chancellors and student representatives.
The Higher Education Department says students will suffer most if violence continues and infrastructure is damaged on campuses.
Vice Chancellors raise concern over what was termed 'a small criminal minority 'damaging infrastructure.
On the fees matter, Nzimande says a one size fits all approach cannot be followed as families who can afford will also be subsidised.
