Four trapped in Durban building blaze

Paramedics and firefighters are currently at the scene of a structural fire on Dr Pixley KaSeme Street in the Durban CBD.

One person has been treated by paramedics.
Kyle Van Reenen is from Emer-G-Med Paramedics and says there are more people believed to be trapped in the burning building.
"Smoke can be seen billowing our of the building, whilst firefighters are busy with a high angle rescue system.”
He says four people are confirmed to be trapped in the building.
Traffic is affected on Dr Pixley KaSeme Street (West Street) and Anton Lembede Road (Smith Street).
