They then drove to the homestead where those men were from and shot two more people - a 21-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman.

“It is alleged that the victims had been driving their bakkie to the Nquthu area. While they were driving, they were approached by the suspects who shot and killed them. Their bodies were found near the road,” said Zwane.

“The suspects then drove back to the victims’ homestead where they allegedly shot two more people. The 21-year-old man died later in hospital.”

The woman who was injured is still recovering in hospital.
