Four killed in KZN north coast accident

Four people have been killed in this morning's collision near Zinkwazi, on the north coast.

Paramedics treated nine people on the scene of the double-bakkie smash on the N2 north.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst says both vehicles were carrying multiple occupants.

On arrival, IPSS Medical Rescue found four people who showed no sign of life and were declared dead on scene.
Herbst says the nine injured patients have been removed and taken to various facilities.
"IPSS Medical Rescue together with RTI is currently awaiting Accident Collision Unit to reconstruct the scene," he said.
