Four-day water shutdown for western Durban starting midnight
Updated | By Andrew Robertson
There'll be a four-day water shutdown in some areas west of Durban starting from midnight on Tuesday.

eThekwini Municipality says it's a planned shutdown by the South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) to complete construction on the N3 around the Lynfield Park area.
The City says pipeline 53 has to be relocated, meaning a reduced inflow to west of Durban.
Residents can expect restrictions to their water supply over this period.
Municipal officials are urging households and businesses to reduce their consumption during the shutdown, warning of an outage if usage is high.
