Two more accused joined the other two arrested for the murder of SACP leader Nontsikelelo Blose in the dock at the Camperdown Magistrate’s Court today.
The four accused appeared in the Camperdown Magistrate’s Court today.
An application granted last week to ban the publication of the suspects' names and pictures was extended by Magistrate Thys Taljaard because of a planned identity parade.
The matter has been adjourned to next month - where all four are expected to apply for bail.
Speaking outside court, the Hawks’ Captain Simphiwe Mhlongo said more arrests were imminent.
"From the beginning there were concerns that were raised after the incident - which is itself politically of a high priority in that area since we know in Inchanga there is that friction that is happening there, And we see it important to engage with the local police and to lead the investigation in this cases," he said.
Blose was shot dead at a tavern in Inchanga last week Sunday.
She had been a witness in the January murder of her comrade, Philip Dlamini who was killed in January during a party meeting in Inchanga.
Her funeral was held in Inchanga on Sunday.
Meanwhile, SACP supporters gathered outside court during court proceedings.
