Former SANDF member killed in police shootout
Police say a former SA National Defence Force member has been killed in a gunfight with officers in Pietermaritzburg.
The 53-year-old man was wanted for the murder of a local cop in April.

KZN SAPS spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says investigators tracked down the suspect on Sunday.
'Intelligence was received about his presence at Imbali BB section, and when police approached him, the suspect opened fire, and the police retaliated."
