Former KZN Premier Mtshali to be laid to rest
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Late former Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Lionel Mtshali will be laid to rest tomorrow.

Mtshali was premier from 1994 to 2004 and was also a national minister in former president Thabo Mbeki's Cabinet.
He passed away on Sunday at the age of 80, at Westville Hospital, following a heart ailment.
The IFP's Blessed Gwala has been reflecting on Mtshali.
He says they believe he has been granted an official funeral because of his leadership qualities, especially when he was Minister of Arts and Culture.
"He was a very humble leader who used to always defend the poor and was also a straight talker in Parliament and everywhere, whenever he spoke.
"So, we'll remember him for that and that he was not a corrupt kind of leader," he said.
His funeral service will be held tomorrow at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium, in Clermont at 9am.
