Former Hawks boss Dramat charged over Zim renditions
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Former national Hawks boss Anwa Dramat has been charged in connection with an investigation into the illegal rendition of five Zimbabweans in 2010.

He has been charged along with his former colleagues, the former Gauteng Hawks boss Shadrack Sibiya and Hawks official Leslie Maluleke.
The NPA's Luvuyo Mfaku says the three face charges including illegal deportation and kidnapping.
Mfaku says they are expected to appear in court soon.
"Arrangements between their lawyers and the prosecutors are underway to ensure that a court date is identified within the next two weeks," he said.
Dramat resigned as the head of the unit last April after reaching a settlement with the police.
His resignation followed a drawn-out court battle to challenge his suspension by Police Minister Nathi Nhleko over the rendition matter.
