Former Gqeberha teacher nabbed for child porn in Australia
Australian police have appeal for victims to come forward after a former South African coach Dean Carelse was charged with the possession child exploitation material.
The 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with one count each of possessing and distributing child exploitation material.
He’s due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrate’s Court on May 5.
Carelse, a former teacher at a private school and water polo coach in Queensland has been severed with a suspension letter after nabbed for child pornography.
“Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have had interactions with the man or know of any potential victims to come forward with further information,” local detectives from the Sunshine Coast Child Protection Investigation Unit said in a statement.
Officers executed a search warrant and seized several items of interest.
