Former FS farmer kidnapped by Paraguay rebel group
Updated | By OFM
A former Free State resident has been kidnapped by a Marxist rebel group in Paraguay.

The Paraguayan People's Army is demanding a ransom of R5.4 million for the release of Danie Coetzee.
The 75-year-old has been farming in the South American country for three decades.
He is said to be the father-in-law of the Springboks' scrum coach, Daan Human.
Paraguay's largest daily newspaper is reporting that the rebels may have in fact been after Coetzee's wealthy neighbour, and kidnapped the wrong man.
