Forensic probe into deadly ANC bus crash

The KZN Department of Transport has roped in
forensic experts to probe the bus crash that claimed the lives of nine ANC
supporter in the province's northern region.

The vehicle overturned near the town of eDumbe in Paulpietersburg on Sunday.
ANC supporters who had attended the party's election manifesto launch in Durban on Saturday were travelling back home to Mpumulanga.
The department's Kwanele Ncalane says investigations have already begun.
"The investigation will be multi-pronged, however, we will focus mainly on the road condition, the bus condition, the driver and other issues including the licencing of the bus, and roadworthiness. We also are in touch with the bus owners."

The health MECs of KZN and Mpumulanga will on Monday visit around 30 critically injured crash survivors at Vryheid Hospital on Monday morning.
