Folweni shooting death toll climbs to six
The number of people killed in a shooting in Folweni, south of Durban, now stands at six.
Officers say seven people were attacked by gunmen at a home on Mngadi Road on Sunday night.
They say four men and two women aged between 26 and 32 were shot multiple times and died at the scene.
A 27-year-old woman survived the attack and was taken to hospital.
"The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has condemned the killing of six people in Folweni," says KZN SAPS spokesperson Jay Naicker.
"Charges of murder and attempted murder are being investigated by the Provincial Investigative Unit who have taken on this investigation."
