Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
KZN Education says
all pupils who were displaced during the April floods last year will have the
opportunity to attend schools near their new homes.

Hundreds of flood victims have been relocated from shelters to temporary homes.
Many learners had to move farther away from the schools they used to attend.

The department's spokesperson Muzi Mahlambi says they will be getting in touch with the affected children’s parents.
“Head office together with the district admission committees, are going to trace those learners and place them in new schools where they are now living.
"This is an integrated programme or approach by the local government."
