Flash floods hit parts of Joburg

Flash floods that have hit parts of Johannesburg have claimed one life and left motorists frustrated following traffic delays.

According to reports, a pupil was swept away by flash floods while trying to cross a bridge in Diepsloot.
While flooding was reported in Houghton, and Braamfontein - being mostly affected by yesterday's storm. Parts of major roadway, the M1 was also flooded.
The South African Weather Services says more rain and thunderstorms were expected today and during the weekend.
