Flabba's murder trial set to begin
Late hip-hop star Nkululeko ''Flabba'' Habedi's girlfriend, Sindisiwe Manqele will today go on trial for killing him.
She was arrested and charged with murder after he was found dead in his flat in Alexandra on March 9 this year.
During her bail application, Manqele said she had acted in self-defence after being attacked.
She also admitted in an affidavit to stabbing the star.
“However, I deny that this was done unlawfully and intentionally by myself. I had been brutally attacked by the deceased on the day of his death. There was imminent danger to my life on the day in question,'' she said.
