Police in Gauteng are hunting for ten armed suspects after a deadly mass shooting at a tavern in Olievehoutbosch, south-west of Pretoria.

At least five people — two women and three men — were gunned down at the Shoba Informal Settlement on Friday night, while three others were wounded.
The shooting happened around 22:30 when the suspects stormed into the tavern and opened fire.
Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo says the motive for the shooting is still unknown.

"It is reported that the suspects came to a tavern and started shooting randomly, without saying a word. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage. The police have opened a case of murder and attempted murder for investigation,” said Masondo.
Police have appealed to the public for assistance in tracking down the suspects.
