Five killed, 6 injured in South Coast crash

Five people have been killed in a in accident on the south coast.

The crash involved three vehicles and occurred on the R61 between Ramsgate and Southbroom yesterday evening.
Craig Botha from Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service says those who died were between the ages of 20 and 30.
He says six other people were injured.
"Paramedics stabilized all those hurt on scene before transporting them to hospital", Botha said.
"Once there one of the patient's condition deteriorated and despite efforts to save them died and was declared 'dead' by hospital staff", he said.
