UPDATE: Officials say all three bodies have now been recovered.
Rescuers have recovered the first body from underneath a section of a building that collapsed in Jacobs - south of Durban this afternoon.
They still need to get two others out from underneath the structure.
The sound of machinery filled the once quiet road of Chamberlain Road in the Bluff, south of Durban.
It's believed that the roof and walls of a two-storey building collapsed - pinning an unknown number of construction workers underneath it.
