Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The South African Weather Service says a cold snap will pass through KwaZulu-Natal this weekend.

Forecaster Odirile Modipa says it's expected to make landfall in the southern parts of the Western Cape, and will also affect the other provinces.
"We are expecting a 30 percent chance of showers and thunder showers across the whole province with slightly cooler temperature for Saturday and it should be existing into Sunday morning with some showers and rain along the coast.
"On Sunday it should clear from the south going into Monday with only the north coast having some light showers and rain."
